Alessaro's Story

Baja Sur

In 1992  I took a road trip to sunny Baja Sur in Mexico with my sweet baby Maddie. One of our stops was at a beautiful Mexican church where I found a tin ornament in the gift shop. I immediately thought of creating an ornament of the Santa Barbara Mission-my hometown iconic landmark. Being a stationery and card enthusiast,  I wondered if I could send this ornament as a gift or souvenir on a card? Soon, I wanted to send it to all of my friends and family. What better way to share my memories where I had been with a landmark souvenir-ornament that I could use at the holiday time and even to remind me of a particular place or memory- all year long….

That led to a 19 YEAR SEACH for artisans capable, dependable, and talented. It took almost two decades to find painter, designer and secret artist, Alvaro, who would help me in my quest.  Alessaro was created!  It took another 3 years to get Alessaro’s our unique designs and manufacturing down. We didn’t stop at the Santa Barbara Mission. Behold our near 100 designs!

And, we make almost everything!! From the first Santa Barbara Mission to now a Airstream trailer, Texas Longhorn,  logos for USC and Jersey Mikes, we do elegant,  artistic, snazzy and fun all well,  and always memorable.

Welcome to Alessaro Designs: handmade ornaments on custom made greeting cards. Use them as escort cards, corporate logo gifts and for branding purposes, school memorabilia, wedding invitations and for fundraisers.

Whenever you give or create,  the message is special and lasting. Each keepsake is handled with care by our creative design team and then hand made in free trade.

Baby Maddie, and then her sister Peg and brother Tally are all grown up now and they love the special memories that Alessaro creates.
